Shootout Bug

It seems like there's a bug in this game and not sure if anyone encountered the same.

In my first 2 tries, the scores showed correctly 24 and 68. Then on my 3rd try, I thought I saw my score showing 76 when it's game over but when it auto submits.... the scoring page is showing 761. :confused!: Did I missed seeing the 1 behind the 76 that could be some bonus points of some sort that I'm not aware of? Or is it a bug? :confused:

I only played three times but score submitted correctly for me. Sucks that the high score is now screwed :/

Ok, admin deleted my score and pm me to try again.

I tried again and I think I know what's the problem and now I know my previous score of 761 was right. I have missed seeing the 1 behind the 76. Here's how it goes.....

What happened is that you can shoot some of the cowboys more than once and your points will keep adding by the number of shots you hit them. I'm not sure if this is how the game should have been but I'd have thought each cowboy should be killed with one shot and only gives you one point.

And excuse me Silicon Sneaky? Your comment in that game "mmhmmm thats what happens when you modify cookies"..... I don't know what you mean by "modify cookies" but I'm reading it as that's a bad assumption. Neither do I know how modifying cookies can affect the scoring. Perhaps you might want to explain? In any case, many knows I'm a computer idiot let alone what modify cookies? Ask Swtgiggl. I always run to her when I have computer problems. Or ask Kane or Denora how dumb I felt when they tried to help me replace the dictionary file in my boggle hoster. I only know that I'm supposed to delete cookies daily and I don't even know what cookies do. You should go try and keep shooting the cowboys more than once and you'll see how wrong you are.

Just to add a pointer:

These few cowboys are those I was able to shoot more than once:

1. The close-up guy on the left of the screen

2. The guy at the door, once you see him, just keep shooting and he'll give you more than one point.

3. The guy at the top right upstairs, after he falls on first shot, you can see his nose sticking up, shoot his nose and he'll get up for you to shoot more.

4. The guy in the window downstairs, same as #3, when you see his nose still sticking out after first shot, you shoot him again, he'll get up n you can keep shooting him for a few more points.

I knew that you could get repeated points with multiple shootings.. I only played the game a few times tho.. 761 just seemed really really high.. but not everyone is suffering from some sort of self-inflicted carpal tunnel either lol
